Dewdrop Vocational Institute Refund & Withdrawal Policy

Overview

This policy outlines the conditions under which Dewdrop Vocational Institute grants refunds or processes withdrawals for its services, including training programs, courses, assessments, and institutional engagements. All clients are advised to read this policy thoroughly and ensure that they have understood our refund policy before registering and making any payment for our training programs, services, or use of our facilities, and before completing the refund form.

Kindly contact the Center Administrator (admin@dewdropinstitute.com) for clarity on the Institute’s refund process and requirements, if necessary.

How to Request a Refund

Dewdrop Institute has an online application form for refunds requests. All refund requests must be submitted via the official Refund Request Form available at the Training Center or at www.dewdropinstitute.com/refunds. Applicants will receive a response from a processing officer within seven (7) working days.

General Refund Principles

  • Any candidate who seeks to cancel their registration will be required to submit a formal request with supporting evidence and a means of verification to the Centre Administrator. Candidates are advised to retain a duly acknowledged copy of their request for reference purposes.
  • All refunds are subject to Management’s final approval
  • A mandatory administrative fee of 25% will be deducted from the total fees for the course that the candidate registered for, regardless of the amount paid by the candidate prior to the cancellation.
  • Refunds, once approved, are processed within 10–14 working days, but may take up to 4–6 weeks to reflect in the applicant’s account.
  • Any refund approved by Management will be deposited into the same bank account through which the candidate’s fees was paid to the Institute.
  • Dewdrop Institute reserves the right to use any, and all legal means possible to ensure that any amount owed to the organization by the candidate is duly paid up in full.

Refund Provisions

Withdrawal Before Registration Deadline

Learners who withdraw before the advertised registration deadline are eligible for a refund minus the mandatory administrative fee.

Withdrawal After Registration Deadline, and Commencement of Training Program

Candidates who seek to cancel their registration within the one-week (five working-day) period after the commencement of lectures can only do so without penalty if they can prove that they have been affected by serious causes, such as:
a. illness – e.g. hospital admission, serious injury or illness (does not include minor illness such as a mild cold)
b. loss or bereavement – death of a close family member
c. hardship/trauma – victim of crime, victim of a traffic accident
d. Mandatory military service
Upon approval, refunds will be issued subject to payment of the mandatory administrative fee.

Withdrawal After Commencement of the Training Program

No refunds will generally be granted if the Candidate’s notice canceling or withdrawing from the course is received two weeks (i.e., ten days) after commencement of the training program. However, Dewdrop Institute Management at its sole discretion, may consider partial refunds for serious documented emergencies.

No-Shows Without Notice

Dewdrop Institute reserves the right to deny refunds in certain cases, such as no-shows without valid documentation. Learners who do not attend training activities without giving adequate prior written notice and valid documentation are not eligible for a refund. If payment is pending, the full amount remains due.

Refunds for Payment Plans or Partial Deposits

Refunds for services paid via installment or deposit will be:

  • Calculated according to the same refund principles outlined above
  • Adjusted against the amount paid to date

Force Majeure

Dewdrop Vocational Institute is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by factors outside its control, including natural disasters, government actions, or public emergencies.
In such cases, Dewdrop may at its sole discretion Issue a refund of the registration fee, or offer a deferred service (e.g., rescheduled training or exam)
